About the Project
The company got in touch as their existing branding and website were looking dated and needed a refresh to bring it up to date. Their current website wasn’t responsive and along with their existing brand no longer portrayed the image they wanted to display to their clients.
The company is well known and established within their industry, so when it came to branding they required a logo that was confident, modern and would work well across multiple platforms.
They wanted the brand to be easily recognisable and to have a “does what it says on the tin” vibe. With this in mind i developed a typeface and creatied an icon to reflect their building services. Once the brand was approved I the developed guidelines to insure brand consistency.
The Website
When it came to the website, they wanted to be led by our expertise. We held a number of meetings with the team and client to establish what the key features and content they required and how we could help.
After an initial brainstorming session, I produced wireframes to illustrate the overall layout, user flow, and content of the site, which was presented to the client for feedback before we progressed.
When I designed the UI for the site, I wanted it to be a reflection of the brand and use a consistent typeface and colour scheme throughout. The site has clear call to actions, photography and graphical elements.
The end result was a website that met the client's original brief and is easily distinguishable from the company's competitors. The site is also informative, consistent with the branding and clearly directs the target user to a call to action.
