The welsh based bakers have nearly 30 years’ experience and are renowned for producing delicious baked goods using only high-quality ingredients.

The company is well known for offering an array of health benefits within their products, from no artificial colour or preservatives to reduced sugar and gluten free options.

About the Project

The company already had a pre-existing website, however, it was dated and didn’t reflect the direction that the business was moving towards. They required a new e-commerce site that would reflect their branding and values, and portray their flapjacks in an appealing way.

We set about discussing their key requirements with the company before suggesting a navigational map and low fidelity wireframes as rough visuals to the direction we suggested taking the site. Upon feedback and approval, the wireframes were worked into high-fidelity wireframes and then graphical visuals.

To reflect the packaging on the flapjacks, and to ensure brand consistency, an illustrative and animated approach was adopted for the design of the site.

The welsh roots of the business were also highlighted throughout the site by orchestrated photoshoots and videos.

The end result was a site that met the clients initial brief and a fully functional e-commerce site that allowed users to browse the delicious flapjacks and place orders with ease, whilst gaining an insight into the company and its values.

Other Marketing Material

Once the site was complete, we were then approached to produce a variety of other marketing material to help raise awareness of the company’s products. I created items including magazine adverts, social graphics, animated visuals, supermarket displays and flyers.
